London has become awash with flashmobs and organized dancing events over the last few months due mainly to the success of T-mobile events such as Pink singing in Trafalgar Square and the organized flashmob in Liverpool street which was plastered all over the telly a while back.
Well the Southbank centre have also jumped on the mob mentality and on Sunday 30th August at 3pm, London’s Southbank Centre will play host to ‘DanceMob’, a mass synchronized ‘Flash Mob’ style dance routine, choreographed by Into the Hoods creator Kate Prince.
If you want to take part check out the dance routine on youtube so you can learn your moves before heading down there. It’s a public event so it is open to anyone that fancies having a go. Or you can show up early on the day of the Dancemob to learn the moves if you are pretty confident about your dancing abilities.
There are lots of other dance workshops taking place over the Summer at the Southbank centre more details of which can be found here
